This model is as warm, lightweight and not slippery as a standard version, but just a little bit less soft inside.
If you know that you have a high instep, choose original "Mongolian", brown or black, please.
Anyway, if you need reliable footwear for extremely cold weather, you will definitely enjoy wearing Shorties for a long time.
